Orders, Returns, Exchanges, & Refunds

An important note about Part 97 textile products. We consider each and every textile product that leaves our workshop a unique creation. Our products are imperfect by design which is the nature of anything hand-crafted.

Part 97 products are designed to be worn hard, worn often, and get better with age. Please, treat them harshly - in the field, while operating or simply enjoying life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Part 97 will gladly accept returns / exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Items specifically listed that are marked "No Exchanges / No Returns" are obviously final sale.

How do I return/exchange an item?

Please email orders@part97.com with your order number and the specific items you would like to return/exchange.

Merchandise must have original tags attached, and be unwashed and unused. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Part 97 will not accept responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of lost packages without proof of delivery.

In the case of a return, when your items are received Part 97 will refund to the same credit card account with which the original purchase was made. Part 97 will normally process your return within three business days, but the time it takes for the refund to post to your account may vary depending on your bank and/or credit card company.

How can I check the status of my order?

What credit cards do you accept?

Part 97 accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Discover

How do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax will be applied as legal & appropriate. Part 97 is based in North Carolina, where sales tax applies.

Shipping

What is your shipping policy?

Orders received on weekend days, holidays, and after 3:00 pm EST will be processed and shipped the following business day. Allow 7-10 days to receive your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Contact orders@part97.com to discus your order and location. We will do our level best to help determine the most cost effective method for shipping.

Do you ship to military service members stationed overseas?

Yes. Part 97 ships both to FPO and APO addresses.

Where do you ship from?

All orders are processed and shipped from the great state of North Carolina.

Is this site secure?

Part 97 uses Shopify which fully complies with all PCI requirements for e-commerce security. This means that any personal information given to Part 97 is fully protected and will never be disclosed. Shopify utilizes the most up-to-date firewall and encryption techniques which ensures that during the ordering process your information is totally secure at all times.

To assist you in recognizing secure areas of the Part 97 website, a small lock icon will appear on your browser. The location of this icon may vary depending on which browser you are using. When this icon is present and in the locked position, you will know that information on that page is secure from unauthorized use with advanced SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption.

What is your policy on privacy?

Part 97 respects your right to privacy. We collect only the information necessary to complete your order or to contact you regarding the status of your order.

Part 97 will never sell, distribute or otherwise share your personal information. Period.

Like most ecommerce websites on the planet part97.com utilizes browser "cookies." Cookies are used for basic non-sensitive information that is critical to shopping cart functionality. Cookies are not used for sensitive information such as a customer's name or billing information. All sensitive information is stored either in secure browser "sessions" or in the protected database.

Can I find Part 97 products on Amazon or at any of the local amateur radio outlets?

Well, for now we'd prefer to keep it real. Somehow we feel like we'd lose that personal connection with our customers. Not that we have anything against giant-online-retail-enterprises. We think that you'll appreciate the contact with us as much as we enjoy getting to know you better.

I have an idea for a product. Do you take suggestions?

Sure. Open to anything that meets the visual needs of the amateur radio community. We have two schelch tests that all products have to filter thru: 1) Is the product timeless – does it have a design quality that will stand the test of time and, 2) does it promote something beautiful about amateur radio - its history, practice or nomenclature.

I noticed your parent company, Aviso, is a design firm. Can you design something for my business?
